An urgent call for political, governmental, and social change following the events of October 7th.
The One Hundred Initiative is a longstanding client of FineLine studio. Shortly after the tragic events of October 7th, the organization approached us with an urgent need to establish a foundation for the rebuilding of Israel. The client requested a bilingual website that would clearly, accessibly, and interactively present their evolving work, emphasizing the urgency of political, governmental, and social change following the events of October 7th. They sought a unique visual language that aligns with their brand’s values, based on the concept of reconstruction, that would encourage the engagement of their audience.
The primary challenge was the tight timeline required for the project due to its urgent nature. Despite the time constraints, I was asked to create a bold and unique visual language based on a strong concept, and communicate seamlessly with the organization’s existing brand guidelines. The design also had to effectively convey the essence of the project while remaining in line with the organization's values.

Given the urgency and short timeline, we worked closely with the client throughout the design process to ensure their input and approval at each stage. I began by creating a user-friendly wireframe to ensure that the site would be easy to navigate and that users could read the document comfortably on all screens. Next, I developed a unifying design concept that drew inspiration from the theme of rebuilding. To visually communicate this idea, I used abstract 3D shapes that would connect and form structures, mimicking the process of reconstruction. I worked with the original color palette of The One Hundred Initiative, adjusting and fine-tuning it to complement the project’s theme, while ensuring it was suitable for a clear, accessible digital reading experience. I incorporated textures to add a sense of place and stability, and used clean, refined typography to enhance readability. Finally, I created animated elements to visually distinguish and differentiate between the four parts of the document.
We successfully met the tight deadline and delivered a high-quality result that the client was very pleased with. The website launched alongside media coverage and press releases. Following the success of this project, The One Hundred Initiative requested that we further develop the new visual language for additional purposes, and we later applied the design for branding a conference based on the same visual concept.
